Who I am?
I am Mirjana Zeko, a Gestalt psychotherapist accredited in accordance with European standards (EAGT)
and a Master of Social Work.
My foundational education in social work provided me with a strong grounding in understanding human behavior, relationships, social dynamics, and the challenges people face in everyday life. This background shaped me deeply, but my professional identity today belongs fully to Gestalt psychotherapy an approach rooted in presence, authenticity, experiential work, and the healing potential of real human contact.
For more than ten years, I worked with individuals in sensitive and complex life situations experiences of addiction, family separation, crises in adolescence and young adulthood, illness, and various forms of personal and social vulnerability. Today, I integrate all of this into my psychotherapy practice, working through presence, clarity, and gentle yet steady therapeutic contact.
For the past three years, I have been fully dedicated to psychotherapy. My style is warm, grounded, and deeply person-centered. I do not work with children, as my professional focus and competence lie in supporting adults who wish to explore their inner processes, emotions, relationships, and the ways they experience themselves in the world.
I work in person and online, offering psychotherapy in English, Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin.
My motivation is simple yet meaningful, if I can help even one person reconnect with themselves, understand their story, or find a sense of inner peace, then my work has purpose.
As a person, I am guided by curiosity, dynamism, and a naturally positive spirit: I love exploring, traveling, reading, and being surrounded by people, children, plants, and animals. These everyday moments of connection remind me of what matters most: presence, openness, and the authenticity that makes real therapeutic contact possible.
